MVTHS
Medford Vocational Technical High School
Welcome to Medford Vocational Technical High School, a learning community offering 15 Career and Technical Programs located within the Medford High School Complex. Students who choose a CTE/Vocational pathway will complete all necessary local and state graduation requirements and will also be awarded technical competency for their chosen field of study in one of our 15 CTE Programs. I invite you to explore our website which includes links to all of our CTE (Career and Technical Education) Program offerings.
As Principal-Director of MVTHS I bring over 20 years of experience teaching and leading in a vocational high school setting beginning my career at South Middlesex Regional Vocational Technical High School and then assuming a leadership role at Greater Lowell Technical High School. Having attended a vocational high school as a student myself, I can attest to the benefits and experiences that a vocational technical education can provide students, long after graduation. Whether students pursue college immediately after high school, or enter the workforce, students are prepared for either pathway upon graduation.
In each of our CTE Programs you will find dedicated instructors who have spent several years in the workforce specializing in their trade or technical area. We are fortunate to have these instructors share with our students their knowledge and experience as they infuse their own enthusiasm for the subject matter. The relationship between the faculty and students is what makes our programs so meaningful and relevant.
Our goal as an instructional team of educators and administrators is to work with students and families to build connections and provide high quality education in an experiential way, through projects, and community partnerships. All of these things contribute to our mission and goals and make us a great place to attend high school. We believe that all of our students can learn at high levels, and it is a shared goal for all that attend and teach at MVTHS that students graduate with skills not only in their respective CTE field, but with the necessary skills to be productive and caring citizens of the community, wherever their path may take them. If I can offer any additional support or answer any questions, please reach out.
