Yearbook Collection
We are pleased to announce that the collection of Medford High School yearbooks, dating from 1924 to 2023, have been digitized and are available for viewing simply by clicking the link and choosing the year you wish to see.
This project was managed by Digital Commonwealth, a MA nonprofit funded by our state budget, in collaboration with Boston Public Library, whose mission is to digitize cultural heritage materials held by Massachusetts libraries, museums, historical societies, and archives. There was no fee for this project. Their goal is to both preserve and disseminate historic materials in order to be available to researchers, students, and the general public before physical materials, pictures, manuscripts, etc, deteriorate and are lost forever. A member of the digitization team picked up the yearbooks from the MHS school library, and returned them upon completion. We thank Digital Commonwealth, the Boston Public Library, and the statewide digitization team for this valuable service to our Mustang community.
The yearbooks are also available on the Internet Archive.
Also digitized is an 8 page newspaper, which chronicled the fire that destroyed the former Medford High School on Forest St. on November 1, 1965. PDF of the 1965 newspaper.
