The Information Support Services & Networking (ISSN) program prepares students for careers in information technology by providing a strong foundation in computer hardware, operating systems, networking, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, and technical support. Students develop the knowledge and skills needed to diagnose computer problems, configure devices, build and maintain networks, and provide professional customer support in today's technology-driven workplace.

Students receive hands-on instruction in computer assembly, operating system installation and troubleshooting, virtualization, network infrastructure, wireless technologies, server administration, cybersecurity fundamentals, and emerging cloud-based systems. They become proficient in the safe use of industry-standard tools, software, and diagnostic equipment while developing critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills through authentic technical scenarios and project-based learning.

Extended learning opportunities include field trips, industry partnerships, guest speakers, technology competitions, and Cooperative Education placements with local businesses and organizations. Students have the opportunity to earn valuable industry-recognized credentials such as CompTIA A+, Network+, and other certifications that enhance college and career readiness. Graduates are prepared to enter the workforce directly or continue their education in computer science, cybersecurity, information technology, network administration, systems engineering, or related technology fields. As technology continues to evolve across every industry, career opportunities for skilled IT professionals remain among the fastest-growing and highest-demand occupations.
