The MHS High School Photography Contest is an exhilarating opportunity for budding photographers to showcase their talent, creativity, and unique perspective through the lens. Open to high school students across all grades, this contest seeks to celebrate the diversity and depth of young photographic talent. By participating, students not only gain the chance to exhibit their work but also to connect with a community of peers and professionals passionate about photography. This contest is more than just a competition; it's a platform for inspiration, learning, and recognition in the journey of our young photographers.
During term 2, students in Design with Mrs. Fee created beautiful mobile sculptures. Students had to consider form and function when designing and creating these mobiles. Check out just a few of these incredible designs!
This past May, Ms. Van Aken organized a photo contest an exhibit open to all students at MHS. The contest was open to all students and we were lucky enough to have professional photographers as guest judges. There was no preferred topic or theme for the contest. Judges considered all entries for their impact, originality or creativity, technique and composition. The Fine Arts Department would like to acknowledge and thank the Medford Educational Fund for funding our grant request for a photo printer. This printer made it possible for even more students to participate in this contest.
