Alan McDougall was a lifelong resident of Medford, where he was raised by his parents, along with his four siblings. Al played football and lacrosse, he excelled in both sports. He lead the MHS/HVTHS football to their last Greater Boston League Championship. He was voted team captain by his football and lax peers. His strong belief that it takes teamwork to produce winning results made him a great captain. Alan was the true definition of Mustang Pride! Are you? In his memory, The Alan McDougall Scholarship Fund will award THREE individual students attending MHS/MHVTS with a $1000 scholarship. 

The application is due Friday, April 21st at midnight.

James and Thelma Connors Scholarship Program

The James and Thelma Connors Scholarship Program was created by James Connor after the death of his sister Thelma Connor. He decided he wanted to make a difference in the lives of others and provide assistance to youngsters to achieve their educational goals. The scholarship is offered to the residents Medford, Massachusetts. The scholarship program will award up to 50 scholarships in the amount of $5,000 each.

This scholarship was established to honor and celebrate the life of Matthew Swirls Cirelli and to continue his legacy. The goal of the scholarship is to lend a helping hand to a student who shares the same qualities that Matt exemplified throughout his life; friendship, a humble team player always thinking of others and a commitment to community service.
