Scholarships of $2,500 will be awarded to five (5) graduating seniors from Medford High School based in Medford, Massachusetts in the spring of 2025.
Requirements
1. Student must be a Graduating Senior of Medford High School
2. Attending a two or four year College/University or Technical School
3. Demonstrate Financial Need please write a short essay on why you are deserving of this scholarship
4. Show Outstanding Commitment to their Community/School.
Completed applications with transcript of grades must be delivered by April 30, 2025.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
• Applicant must be a full-time student currently enrolled, accepted, or awaiting acceptance to a college or university in an undergraduate or graduate program or full-time trade program for the 2025 - 2026 academic year.
• Applicant, parent, or guardian must be or become a member of Naveo by submission deadline*.
• Minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.75.
One high-school graduating senior of Medford High, MA will be awarded a $2,500 scholarship to help kick-start their future, hopefully filled with joy and clever thinking.
Requirements: Essay
The criteria for this award are:
A graduate:
• Who is a graduating senior from Medford High School (No GPA requirement)
• Who will attend an accredited two/four-year college or university
• Who has participated in sports over the course of their school career
• Who has made a significant impact on another’s life in the athletic community or has faced adversity on or off the field.

Eligibility
l. The applicant must be of recognized Syrian or Lebanese descent (at least one parent or grandparent must be of Syrian or Lebanese origin).
2. The applicant must be a citizen or be a permanent resident in the United States.
3. The applicant must reside within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and within a 50-mile radius of Boston.
4. The applicant must be a high school senior, graduating from an accredited high school and attending an accredited four-year college or university in the fall.
Qualifications
1. Must be a Medford resident.
2. A student who has completed required service hours and will graduate in 2025.
3. Intends to pursue studies in the Health Field.
4. Complete the required information.
5. Must submit completed application to pkelly@medford-ma.gov by May 2, 2025
Qualifications:
-Have a high academic average.
-Studied Italian in High School and/or demonstrated an interest in Italian Language and Culture.
-Have high SAT Scores.
-Have been involved in extracurricular activities.
-Have financial need.
This scholarship must be completed in full. Otherwise, it will NOT be taken into consideration. If any question is not applicable, please so indicate.
What are your plans next year?
**In order to receive the MHS GSA Scholarship, students must present proof of plans to
attend a post-secondary educational program**
Applicant Requirements:
- Must be a resident of Medford, MA
- A graduating senior entering a two or four year college beginning in the Fall of 2025. Applicants for the Edward M. Juskalian Award must be pursuing a career in the trades, enrolling in a trade school or accredited certification program.
- Children and grandchildren of Medford Rotarians are not eligible
